I began running as a hobby as a means to adopt a healthier lifestyle. With each step and every stride, I inched closer to something I would love, enjoy and cherish all my life! Today, I cannot even imagine a life without running.
I use this passion to push myself, as I believe in the power of the human mind and body to achieve any goal. Discovering your own limits is an essential part of staying positive and enjoying life.
I’m very proud of the fact that my attitude towards life has become much more positive. My days are so much more joyful and I am able to teach the same attitude to my children.
My colleagues who are seasoned runners – including Shiv Shankar Pandit and Tobias Lundgren – guide me in this pursuit.
My personal aspiration is to become an ultra runner and running coach, so that I can help others who need guidance in the early stages of their running journey. This will take time, but I am committed to reaching this goal.
I will be running my first marathon for cancer research. I lost my Grandfather to cancer, and have friends and family whose loved ones also suffer from this disease. Doing my part towards a noble cause is my main motivation to run my first marathon.
